CLAREMORE — A celebration of life reception for Stanley Joe Cline will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013 at Claremore Seventh Day Adventist Church. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday Aug. 22 from 1-7 p.m.

Stanley passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013. He was 49.

Born Sept. 17, 1963 in Claremore to Harold Lee and Marie (Mayberry) Cline, Stanley was reared and educated in his birth community, graduating with the class of 1981 from Claremore High. Following his schooling he began working for his dad who owned and operated a dental lab.

Stanley was taught by his father the skillful art of making dental bridges and crowns and worked alongside him and his sisters for more than 30 years. His father was most proud of his contribution to the business.

On Jan 23, 1998 Stanley married Shannon Hope Simpson, the couple made their home in Claremore through the years. They enjoyed camping together and spending time with their families.

Stanley never passed up an opportunity to go fishing; Claremore Lake and Grove were among his favorite places to go. He was quite the pool shark, learning at a young age and passing his technique on to Jared and Shannon, whom he was very competitive with. He was a great cook, making his family’s most loved dishes; chili, ham and beans, stew and meatloaf to name a few. When he cooked it would feed the whole family and he enjoyed the times sharing these meals with them.

The life of any party, Stanley lived life to its fullest. He loved the reaction from you when he teased you. He woke every morning bright and cheery and ready to take on the day’s challenges.

A kind and caring person, Stanley leaves many memories for his family and friends. Those family members that survive include his wife Shannon; his son Jared Branson Cline; his mother Marie Cline all of Claremore; his sisters Sandy Deffenbaugh and husband Steve also of Claremore and Cindy Wiley and husband Randy of Tulsa; his step children Savannah Evans of Stillwater, Michael Bright and Samantha Robinson and husband Aaron all of Claremore; his granddaughters Cody Cline and Katherine Robinson and many nieces and nephews. Stanley was preceded in death by his grandparents Ocie and Ovid Mayberry and Johnie and Harold Cline and his dad Harold Cline.
