CLAREMORE —

Services for Delbert L. Raley, Jr. were held today in the Chapel of the Garden at Rice Funeral Service, burial followed at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Delbert passed away on Tuesday, October. 29, 2013.  He was 76.  
Born November 7, 1936 in Talala, OK, to Delbert Lee and Emma Jane (Harris) Raley, Sr., Delbert was reared and educated in the Oologah community.  Following his high school graduation, Delbert continued his education by attending welding school and diesel mechanic school.  
On March 18, 1958 Delbert married Diana Louise Whiteside.  Together the couple was blessed with 3 children.  In 1960 he began his own trucking business and continued working until his retirement in 2012.  Delbert was a great provider for his family.  He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.  
This wonderful husband, father grandfather and friend will be missed by all who knew him.  Those family members that survive include his wife Diana of their home; his children Delbert “Dale” Raley and wife Kathy, Shari Raley Hodges and Cindy Raley Kleman all of Stigler; his mom Emma Jane Mabry of Claremore; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings James Edward Raley and Sandra J. Raley Watkins both of Claremore and numerous nieces and nephews.  Delbert was preceded in death by his father, his sisters Shirley Angela Raley Baldwin and Barbara Ann Duck.
