CLAREMORE — Alice Marie Milner, 73, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at her home in Claremore, Okla.  Born August 15, 1939 in Okmulgee, OK to Leslie and Jenny Riley, Alice had 2 siblings, Frank Riley and Judy Riley Griffin. She earned her high school diploma from Claremore High School in Oklahoma after moving to Claremore from Okmulgee her senior year.  She went on to earn a degree in business from Oklahoma State University in 1961 where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.  Post college graduation she worked as a contract negotiator for Tinker Air Force Base until she met and married Max B. Milner in 1963. While raising their 3 children, Trent, Brook and Dindy, Alice worked along side her husband at their business Milner Office Supply in downtown Claremore.  Alice later became a social worker for the State of Oklahoma.  A member of the First Christian Church of Claremore and the PEO Club, Alice was also an accomplished knitter and loved to read.

Alice is survived by her husband Max B. Milner of Claremore, Okla., her son Trent Milner and his wife Holly Milner of Dallas, Texas, and two daughters Brook Low and her husband Andrew Low of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Dindy

Banzet and her husband Jason Banzet of Tulsa, Okla. Additionally, she is survived by her four grandchildren: Carson and Sawyer Low, and Max and Sam Banzet.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at First Christian Church of Claremore, 200 East 5th Street, Claremore, OK 74017.  Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday 1-8 p.m., and family will greet friends 5-7 p.m. Leave your memories of Alice and view her tribute online at www.mmsfuneralhomes.com.
