A new study by the Kaiser Family Foundation tabulates the television and computer use by the youngest Americans — age 6 and under. One-third of youngsters have TVs in their rooms, including 19 percent of babies younger than one year. A majority of those parents (55 percent) explained that this is so parents can watch their own shows.
The study also reports that parents expressed enthusiasm for the educational value of television, noting their kids picked up all kinds of lessons.
Indeed they do. They really do.
