The Republican State Committee reports that all candidates in the Second Senate District race that includes Rogers and Mayes counties have signed the “11th Commandment agreement” not to conduct smear campaigns.
Avoiding negative campaigns would be a credit to any candidate. The public has heard all the bad stuff.
The prospects of upbeat, positive campaigns by candidates with visions for greatness, progress and justice are long overdue and entirely appropriate.
Plaudits to those who denounced smear campaigns. Each wannabe senator deserves to be heard on the positive side of the government.
Now, who dares to be first?
