Voters who approved Tuesday’s building and transportation bonds for Inola, Justus-Tiawah and Verdigris get a big thumbs up. First, for recognizing the need to build for the present and the future and, second, for supporting the leadership in these school districts.
Over the next few years, school patrons have agreed it is a good idea to invest just over $8 million dollars in the education of our children — a long-term investment in the growth and prosperity of Rogers County at large.
Education is essential to improving the quality of life for every resident in the county, whether you live in one of these school districts or not. When one area improves, it raises the overall standard of living for everyone.
These school districts have shown leadership that should be commended — and we do!
