NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND FINDING
The Rural Water District No. 3, Rogers County is planning to expand the capacity of the Tacora Water Treatment Plant by constructing a 3.0 MGD Actiflo Treatment System and related improvements including a new building, upgrade of the raw water pumping, new filters and modifications to existing filters, two new backwash ponds, related controls, chemical facilities, yard piping, 400,000 gallon steel clearwell tank, renovation to existing plant building and related appurtenances. The Rural Water District No. 3, Rogers County is funding the project through a loan from the Drinking Water State Revolving fund (DWSRF) from the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). The Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact are available for review and comment by the public at the following location:
