The Isaacs in concert Sept. 4

CLAREMORE — The Isaacs will be in concert at 6 p.m. Sept. 4 at Claremore Church of the Nazarene, 1336 N. Dorothy.

Doors open at 5 p.m. There will be a Mission Department fundraiser, serving Indian Tacos from 3:30-5:30.

The Isaacs are active members on the Gaither Homecoming Videos and Concert Series and travel throughout the year performing internationally.

Jimmy Yeary, Sonya Isaacs’ husband, has recently joined the group and will be performing with them.

Yeary is former lead singer with Shenandoah Band.

Patrick Quick and The Travelers will be opening for The Isaacs. The concert is free; a love offering will be taken.

    Clad only in a pair of plaid pajama pants, he crossed the street and walked down the alley behind a row of businesses. I was startled. As I approached the parking lot near the courthouse, I crossed paths with several deputies. Taking in the scene before me, I realized the barefooted man, whose arms clutched a few belongings, had been a prisoner in the county jail. He had been set free.
