CLAREMORE —

“For each student that transfers out of the district, we lose somewhere in the neighborhood of $6,100. Our student count is down by about 40 kids, that’s about 2-3 youngsters per grade level,” he said.
McClaren said if corrections are not made by today (Thursday), showing the $375,000, mistakenly not allocated in state aid adjustments for Claremore, the district may not see the funds until February.
“If we don’t receive payment until February, that’s OK. As long as corrections are made before the end of the fiscal year on June 30,” McClaren said.
