CLAREMORE —

The Claremore High School Navy Junior ROTC and Oklahoma Blood Institute will have a Blood Drive from 9 a.m.-6 p.m today at the CHS Frank Mobra Field House lobby. Donors will be able to designate their donations to one of three Claremore individuals, including a nine-year-old tumor victim.
“Anyone in the community can give and every donation can save a life,” said ROTC Commander Murry Estabrook. “Individuals with all blood types are invited to donate.”
Donors can be as young as 16 or 17 with a signed parental permission form if they weigh at least 125 pounds and are in good health. Individuals 18 and older can weigh 110 pounds or more as long as they are in good health.
All donors must present a photo ID. Snacks will be provided.  Blood donors are encouraged to get a restful night sleep, eat well and drink plenty of fluids before donating.
For more information, contact Commander Murry Estabrook at mestabrook@claremore.k12.ok.us or (918) 519-4605.
