COWETA — Claremore and Catoosa battled it out at the Coweta Volleyball Tournament this past weekend. Catoosa won the head-to-head battle, but the Zebras went on to play Coweta in the tournament championship match, falling 20-25, 25-23, 15-13 in a third set thriller.

The Rogers State men’s soccer team will play in a pair of local preseason scrimmages beginning with an 11 a.m. scrimmage Saturday, Aug. 19 at the University of Tulsa, followed by a scrimmage at Northeastern State in Tahlequah beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26.

SALINA — After losing a tight five-set match to Verdigris Monday (16-14 in the fifth set), the Inola volleyball team responded with a four-set win on the road at Salina Tuesday evening.

Tonight's home softball and volleyball games have been postponed due to the Claremore Open House. The Claremore softball team was schedule to host Inola, and the volleyball team was set to host Collinsville. Make-up dates will be announced at a later date.
