Teams from Claremore took part recently in the season’s first shoot on the Scholastic Clay Target Program schedule at Tulsa Gun Club.

The state competition is scheduled for June 17.

The purpose of both the Scholastic Clay Target Program and the Oklahoma

Youth Shooting Organization is to promote participation in the shooting

sports, safety, leadership and scholastic achievement.
