Crystal Reeves of Broken Arrow turned in the best second round of the tournament last week and captured medalist honors in the 57th Oklahoma Girls Junior Championship at Heritage Hills Golf Course in Claremore.

Reeves followed her opening 79 with a 74 for a 153 total and a two-shot win over Erin Fuchik of Tulsa (75-80).

Reeves shared the medal a year ago, and took it outright this time around. She had eight birdie putts inside 10 feet on the closing nine in the second round. And, although she made only one of those, she posted the best 18-hole score of the tournament.
