BOKOSHE — The Claremore Christian Warriors lost their first-ever high school football district game Friday night, falling to Bokoshe, 56-6.

The Warriors’ high-powered passing game took a hit in the second quarter when Andrew Bell was taken out of the game after suffering a concussion.

“With three starters already out, we were just short too many personnel positions to be competitive,” CCS coach Ryan Mullins said.

While in the lineup, Bell completed 10 of 18 passes for 80 yards and one touchdown, to Devon Tubbs.

The Warriors’ Jake Layman collected four passes for 33 yards. Bell carried six times for 24 yards, and Tyler Hammack gained 37 yards on three carries.

CCS is 1-1 and Bokoshe is 2-0.
