SKIATOOK — The Metro Lakes Conference volleyball tournament this past weekend in Skiatook was chock full of ranked Class 5A teams.

After beating No. 19 Tahlequah in a nail-biting 22-25, 25-15, 15-10 three-setter, the 10th-ranked Claremore Zebras fell to No. 8 Coweta 29-27, 25-14; and No. 9 Skiatook 25-9, 25-20.

The Lady Zebras are now 16-15 heading into the final two matches of the season.

The Zebras will host Edison Prep, ranked No. 15, at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3 before finishing the season at Lincoln Christian on Thursday, Oct. 5.

Class 5A regional pairings will be released on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
