Lace up the sneakers and get ready to learn from one of the best high school basketball coaches in Oklahoma.

The Clyde Barkley Boys Basketball Camp will tip off May 29-31 at Inola High School. Camp times are 9 a.m. to noon for boys entering 4th through 9th grade; and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for boys entering 1st through 3rd grade.

Barkley just completed his 35th season coaching the Inola Longhorns and his 33rd as the head coach. He has to his credit a state championship, a National AAU Championship as well as numerous other accomplishments and awards.

Barkley will be assisted by Tucker Thompson, who played on the 1998 State Championship team, and members of the Inola High School boys basketball team.

Campers will learn proper basketball fundamentals, improve skills and have fun. This year, Barkley will use 8-foot goals for the mini camp (afternoon session).

Each camper must bring his own basketball shoes, T-shirt and shorts. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt on the last day of camp.

The cost of the camp is $55 per camper or $100 for two campers. All checks should be made payable to: Clyde Barkley. Please do not send cash in the mail.
