The Inola boys fell to Muldrow, 67-41.

At Ramona, in the Caney Valley tournament, Chelsea picked up a rare sweep.

The Chelsea boys knocked off Kellyville, 62-56, and the Chelsea girls dropped Barnsdall, 67-42.

In the Pryor Invitational, the host Tigerettes edged Oologah, 55-44, in an opening-round game. The Oologah boys won their opener on Monday.

At Pryor, Oologah girls coach Larry Bennett said: “We started off good, but in the second quarter, we just lost our composure. Then, in the third quarter, they just got away from us.”

Oologah held a 9-4 first-period lead, only to see Pryor bounce back in the second to take a 22-15 lead at halftime.

“And in the third quarter, we had trouble putting shots in,” Bennett said.

At Fort Gibson, Inola girls coach Rick Ott had six players score in the third quarter as the Lady Longhorns pulled away from Muldrow.

It was 22-20 at halftime before Inola went on an 11-4 run in the third period.

In the fourth, Inola missed eight free throws to allow Muldrow to hang around a little too long, Ott said.

Mandy Grigg and Kelsey Sears each scored 10 points for Inola. Sears also had nine rebounds.
