Football’s right around the corner, and women can get a head start on some of the game’s insights, courtesy of Claremore High School head coach Keith Bell.

It’s Zebra Football 101. A women’s clinic.

Bell, who will begin his first season as the Zebras’ head coach after moving here from Oklahoma City Millwood, will be conducting the all-women, no-men clinic at 7 p.m., Aug. 5, in the high school cafeteria.

Bell will take the opportunity to answer questions, such as “what is so special about ‘special teams’?” and “if he is on the front line, why do they call him a back?”

Registration is $5, and includes a T-shirt and snacks.

Telephone, Teresa Dexter, 543-3412, or 344-0645, or Diane Owens, 343-2609, after 5 p.m.
