Oologah’s Mustangs broke away early and rolled over Cleveland, 66-45, Tuesday night in a high school basketball game at Oologah.

On the other hand, Oologah’s Lady Mustangs were forced to overcome a slow first-quarter start before slapping Cleveland, 51-27. Oologah limited Cleveland to one point in the third period.

Jordan Barrett paced three Mustangs in double figures with 13 points. Marshall Jacobs and Johnathon Troutt followed with 12 and 10.

In the girls game, Oologah managed just six points in the first period, falling behind by seven. The Lady Mustangs surged ahead in the second quarter and then blasted Cleveland after intermission.

Lachelle Hotfelt, with 14 points, was one of two Oologah players in double figures.
