The Rogers State men’s and women’s soccer teams will host 19 home matches this fall.

CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State men's and women's soccer announced schedules for the 2018 season. The programs combine to play 19 home matches at Soldier Field this fall. The RSU men's soccer home opener is Aug. 30 with the women's team's first home contest on Sept. 4.

The 2018 season starts on Aug. 30 for both programs with men's soccer opening at home with Drury at 7 p.m. at Soldier Field. The women's team begins the regular season at Northwestern Oklahoma State in Alva, Oklahoma at 6 p.m.

RSU men continue its home slate with Ouachita Baptist on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 2 p.m.

The women's program plays its home opener on Sept. 4 with Rockhurst before welcoming East Central to Soldier Field on Sept. 6. Both home matches are set for 6 p.m. start times.

The Hillcat men travel to in-state rival Northeastern State on Sept. 6 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma in RSU's first road contest of the season. The Cats conclude their nonconference schedule with national power Rockhurst on Sept. 8. RSU women's soccer ends the nonconference slate at Central Oklahoma on Sept. 9 in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Both programs open the Heartland Conference schedule with four straight road contests. The women's team begins league play at Lubbock Christian on Sept. 13 in Lubbock, Texas and then goes to Oklahoma Christian on Sept. 15 in Oklahoma City. The following week, the Cats take on St. Mary's on Sept. 20 in San Antonio and clash with Texas A&M International on Sept. 22 in Laredo, Texas.

The men face a tough challenge to begin the Heartland Conference at Midwestern State on Sept. 13 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Two days later, the Hillcats battle with rival Oklahoma Christian on Sept. 15 in Oklahoma City. To end the road trip, RSU travels to Eastern New Mexico in Portales, N.M. on Sept. 20 and West Texas A&M on Sept. 22 in Canyon, Texas.

The Hillcats return home for four straight Heartland Conference doubleheaders. The stretch starts with a doubleheader against St. Edward's on Sept. 27. The women's team plays the early game at 5 p.m. with the men to follow at 7:30 p.m. The navy and red hosts Dallas Baptist University on Sept. 29 with 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. contests at Soldier Field.

To continue the home stretch, RSU women welcome Oklahoma Christian to Soldier Field on Oct. 4 with the men's taking on Newman to follow on that Thursday night. The four-match homestand concludes with two games on Oct. 6. The women's team hosts Newman with the men's team playing Eastern New Mexico.

On Oct. 11, the women's team travels to DBU and the men's team goes to UT-Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas. St. Edward's welcomes the RSU women's team on Oct. 13 to Austin, Texas, and the men play at Lubbock Christian in Lubbock, Texas on Oct. 13.

RSU plays three of the final four matches at home at Soldier Field. The Hillcat women hosts Texas A&M International and the men's team welcomes Oklahoma Christian on Oct. 18 in a doubleheader. Two days later, the women's team takes on St. Mary's and the men's team clashes with Midwestern State on Oct. 20. The final regular season road trip for both teams is at Newman on Oct. 25 in Wichita, Kansas.

Senior Day is Oct. 27 for the RSU soccer programs. The day starts with RSU women playing Lubbock Christian at 12 p.m. with the men's team concluding Senior Day with a game against Texas A&M International at 2:30 p.m.
