Ex-Catoosa, UCO shortstop Justus ranks 2nd in stolen bases

CATOOSA — Former Catoosa shortstop Hannah Justus possesses ‘eye-opening’ speed that has been quickly become a integral part of the Central Oklahoma offense.

Justus, in her junior season at UCO, ranks second on the team with five stolen bases in five attempts.

The two-year returning starter at shortstop was a state qualifier in track during her high school career at Catoosa.

Justus’ blazing speed has helped UCO account for 130 runs scored in 22 games this season.

Kaylee Brunson leads UCO with six stolen bases in seven attempts.

On the season, UCO has amassed 23 stolen bases in 28 attempts.
