TULSA — "I was pleased with our first half," Mossman said. "I thought it was a really good first half for us. I thought we competed, I thought we defended well."
A Grovey three-pointer extended the TU lead to 41-19 to begin the second half, but Marshall whittled the lead down to eight points by going on a 16-2 run to make it a 43-35 score with 13:35 to go. The Herd again made it an eight-point game with 11:17 left, but Mayberry's trey with 10:56 on the clock gave TU a 52-41 advantage. Tulsa's lead remained in double-digits for the rest of the way as the squad ended the game on a 15-7 run.
