COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Arkansas’ second meet record of the day came from the foursome of Borge, Grace Heymsfield, Andrina Schlaepfer and Dominique Scott in the distance-medley relay. The team finished in a time of 11:33.56, just under 14 seconds faster than the previous mark set by Tennessee in 2009. The Razorbacks finished Saturday’s race 24 seconds clear of runner-up Texas A&M.
The list of 12 personal-best performances from Saturday’s meet features Flowers at 60 meters (7.60) and 200 meters (23.85), Wood at 800 meters (2:12.02), Scott in the mile (4:44.78), Jessica Kamilos in the mile (4:56.27), Klenke in the mile (5:00.83), Robison at 3,000 meters, Rachel Carpino at 3,000 meters (10:03.33), Alcide in the 60-meter hurdles (8.54), Kirsten Hesseltine in the high jump (1.76m/5-9.25), Morris in the pole vault and Megan Zimlich in the pole vault (3.87m/12-8.25).
The Texas A&M Triangular was scored on a 7-5-4-3-2-1 scale with the top two individuals per team scoring points. In the relays, the points were based on a 7-5-4 scale and only one team per school could score.
Arkansas returns to Fayetteville to host the Razorback Team Invitational next weekend. The two-day meet will be contested Jan. 25-26 at the Randal Tyson Track Center and is scheduled to feature eight teams ranked in the USTFCCCA preseason projections poll.
