CLAREMORE — Four days into 2013 and the Claremore Zebras are looking to break an eight-game losing streak.

In a non-conference battle tonight at Bartlesville, the Zebras (0-8) face a tough nemesis in the Class 6A Bruins.

Earlier this season, No. 7 Bartlesville cruised past Claremore, 68-37.

The Bruins roll into the new year fresh off a three-game winning streak that included hoisting the championship trophy at the Ardmore Holiday Festival.

Bartlesville, under the direction of head coach Tim Bart, defeated Wichita Falls (Texas) Hirschi, 75-70 in the championship game of the Ardmore Holiday Festival.

The Bruins (6-2) also collected wins over Dumas (Texas), 73-43 and Durant, 77-37.

Tip-off tonight is set for 8 p.m.

In the girls game, the Lady Zebras (4-4) tangle with Class 6A No. 3 Bartlesville (8-0) at 6:30 p.m.

Bartlesville defeated Claremore, 52-49 in the first meeting between the two teams.
