Zebra Fish Fry set for Aug. 3

CLAREMORE — The annual Claremore Quarterback Club Fish Fry will take place on Aug. 3 at the Claremore High School Cafeteria.

The catfish fry and silent auction goes from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and tickets are $10 each.

Money from the fish fry benefits the Claremore Quarterback Club and the Claremore Zebra football program.

This year’s Claremore Quarterback Club president is Cole Meisinger.

The Zebras open the 2013 football season on Sept. 5 in the final “Battle of Rogers County” rivalry game with the Oologah Mustangs. The Claremore-Oologah game will kick off at 7 p.m. on Sept. 5 at Lantow Field.

This year’s Zebra football team features first-year starting quarterback Brinley Brown and a talented defense led by senior free safety Hunter Garroutte and senior linebacker Gage Meisinger.
