Oologah face Bethel in 4A State Tourney

OOLOGAH — The Oologah Lady Mustangs return to the Class 4A State Softball Tournament for the second consecutive year this Thursday.

Under the guidance of head coach Andrea Vaughan, the Lady Mustangs (28-5) will start their quest toward a 4A state championship at 3 p.m. on Thursday against Bethel at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.

The 4A state tournament bracket on Thursday consists of Tuttle vs. Purcell at 11 a.m.; Newcastle vs. Piedmont at 1 p.m.; Cache vs. Hilldale at 5 p.m.

The 4A state championship game will be played at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
