Hunter Thompson finished 13th to pace the Claremore Sequoyah Lady Eagles’ performance at the Class 4A state cross country championships on Saturday.
Thompson clocked 12 minutes, 49.90 seconds over the 3,200-meter course, pushing Sequoyah to an 11th place team finish.
Dacey Jano crossed 57th for the Eagles in 13:57.86, Aubryana Matussak 58th in 13:52.05, Paige Massman 90th in 14:49.65, Krista Haddock 102nd in 15:27.05, Hannah Johnson 108th in 16:41.13 and Anna Gayman 109th in 17:10.21.
Sydney Lawrence of Stilwell was the individual winner in 11:51.39. Mount Saint Mary won the team crown with 45 points, 25 more than runnerup Heritage Hall. Seqouyah scored 260 points in taking 11th.
