CLAREMORE — The Claremore Lady Zebras are off to a hot start and ranked No. 1 in the first Class 5A girls soccer poll.

Under the leadership of head coach Robin Sutherland, the Lady Zebras are 3-0 this season after beating Tulsa Edison, 2-1, to claim the Claremore Zebra Shootout Championship.

The Lady Zebras are led by senior forward Cailin Caldwell, who scored the game-winner against Tulsa Edison, and junior midfielder Katelin Teter.

Claremore puts the perfect record on the line at 6 p.m. tonight in a non-conference home game against Sapulpa.
