STILLWATER — Several activities will take place this weekend beginning on Friday to honor the lives of former Oklahoma State Cowgirl basketball head coach Kurt Budke, assistant coach Miranda Serna and Olin and Paula Branstetter, who were killed in a plane crash in Arkansas on Nov. 17, 2011.

The Memorial Lobby, located in the southwest corner of the OSU Athletics Center, will be open on Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. for visitors to pay their respects. Additionally, there will be a large banner present for visitors to sign.

On Saturday, which will mark the one-year anniversary of the tragedy, the lobby will not be open to the public due to the Cowboys' football game against Texas Tech. However, a moment of silence will be observed prior to kickoff.

The lobby will reopen at 1 p.m. on Sunday, one hour prior to the Cowgirls' game against Weber State. Admission for the contest will be free. Prior to tipoff, fans will be asked to observe a moment of celebration in lieu of a moment of silence.
