Trans-modal Rail facility gets first customer

CLAREMORE —

Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority is proud to announce the first customer of the CIEDA/City of Claremore Trans-modal Rail Facility.
Hydrohoist, the world’s oldest and largest manufacturer of hydro-pneumatic boat lifts with exports to over 23 countries is located in Claremore.
The company will be receiving the first delivery of rail service at the newly constructed Trans-modal Rail Facility located in the Claremore Industrial and Distribution Center, located just north of CIEDA Drive.
Hydrohoist is expecting a rail car loaded with approximately 194,000 pounds of polyethylene pellets used in the rotational molding of Hydrohoist’s products for its Verdigris’ Plant on or about July 9.
The Trans-modal Rail Facility is a partnership between CIEDA and the City of Claremore and was funded through the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration and CIEDA.
