CLAREMORE —

RCB Bank is growing once again with the acquisition of seven new branches.

The bank has entered into an agreement with SpiritBank to acquire branches located in Cushing, Drumright, Edmond, Oilton, Oklahoma City, Stillwater and Stroud. The sale, pending regulatory approval, is expected to be finalized in 90 days.

“We are excited to expand in the state,” said Roger Mosier, RCB Bank president and CEO. “The branches we are acquiring from Spirit, fit nice in our footprint. We are a hometown community bank and we’re happy to take on that role within these communities.”

RCB Bank currently has a banking network of 33 locations across Oklahoma, extending into Kansas. With the acquisition of $250 million in deposits, the bank will have 40 locations and $2.36 billion in assets — the sixth largest Oklahoma-owned bank.

“This acquisition is not simply about having more branches,” said Mosier. “We see this as a great opportunity to bring our style of full-service community and rewards banking to these new Oklahoma cities, ensuring they are thriving participants in their communities — that’s just the way we do business.”

RCB Bank offers several free rewards checking accounts to customers — a rarity in banking these days, he said.

“Our free, personal rewards checking accounts are really some of the best in the state,” said Mosier. “We actually pay customers back for banking with us. With our mobile deposit offerings, and apps that let you deposit checks, you really can bank anywhere with RCB.”

In addition to strong retail offerings, RCB Bank offers state-of-the-art services for small business customers, including cash management services and remote deposit capture, which allows businesses to deposit checks from their desktop using a small scanner.

“The purchase of these locations fits with our commitment to expand our footprint within the state,” he said. “Our current customers will appreciate the convenience of the new locations, and it will introduce RCB Bank and our many financial services to potential customers. We’re looking forward to bringing our style of community banking to the customers in these markets, focusing on complete banking and lending needs and providing support to the communities, both the rural and metro markets of OKC and Edmond.”

With the addition, RCB Bank’s network of branches will expand to 40 locations across Oklahoma and extending into Kansas.

“Some of these cities are new to us, but we go in with the same aproach as in other markets. Our promise to our customers has always been to furnish the public with people and facilities who are friendly in service and progressive in spirit,” said Mosier. “Our community driven approach and Oklahoma history is something we share with SpiritBank, making this transaction a natural fit.”
