Catoosa Police are investigating the death of a Wagoner man after his body was found Saturday morning on the Cherokee Hills Golf Course, North 193rd East Avenue, near the Tulsa Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Catoosa Police Chief Kevin McKim said the 41-year-old was discovered and called in by casino security around 8 a.m.
"It appears that the death was of natural causes. There did not seem to be obvious signs of blunt force trauma or foul play," said McKim.
He said the cause may have been a heart attack, however, it is unclear until the body has been fully examined by the medical examiners office. The family told police the man had a history of heart problems.
Police have requested surveillance video from the casino in an attempt to retrace the man's steps, McKim said.
His identity is being withheld pending notification of family members.
