CLAREMORE —

Several local organizations are pulling together to collect items to assist survivors from the Moore tornado.

Will Rogers Masonic Lodge

The Will Rogers Masonic Lodge is enlisting the community’s help to provide items for the victims of the Moore tornado.

Lodge members will be accepting donations from 2:30 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday at 102 S. Cherokee, according to Tom Pilgrim, Senior Warden.

Pilgrim said any monetary donations will be matched by the Mason Charity Foundation.

He suggested toiletries and non-perishable food as items tornado survivors could use.

Rotary Club District Governor John Williams has authorized a coordinated effort for Rotary District 6110, coordinating all contributions into one place. He has authorized Medical Supplies Network, Inc., (MSNI), to be the coordinating agency for disaster relief efforts in Oklahoma.

All donations by clubs and / or individuals can be sent to:

Medical Supplies Network, 1123 South Erie, Tulsa, OK 74112.

Checks need to be made payable to MSNI-Disaster Relief, Oklahoma. Those wishing to use PayPal or credit cards can do so by going to www.msni.org and clicking the appropriate link.  All contributions are tax deductible. An acknowledgement letter for tax purposes will be sent to clubs and individuals making contributions.

Once funds are collected the funds will be passed to either a Rotary Club or organization set up to work with the relief efforts.
