Kenneth Wayne DeLozier, Sr.

As a man who spoke little but lived strongly in keeping with his faith. His handshake and word were better than a contract. While residing in Claremore, Kenneth and his family worshiped at Trinity Baptist Church. After moving to Chelsea they became members of the First Baptist Church. He was a man of strength, a provider of security to his family and a giver to all who had a need. As a husband, dad, and Popie his life was an example that others could follow.
His legacy will live on in the lives of his beloved family. Those who survive are his wife, Loleta of their home; children, Julie Youngblood and husband Kirk, Janie Rou and husband Sam, Kenny DeLozier and wife Pam, and Jennifer Toone and husband Doug; grandchildren, Jebeke, Jake, Jenny Linsley, Kenslee, Zach, Douglas Bryon, Johanna Joye, Jillian Grace, DaLayna Jo, Haley, Hannah, Hayden and Janie Anne; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Pete DeLozier and wife Mary Helen, Jerry DeLozier and wife Brenda, and Larry DeLozier and wife Pat; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, brother, C.G.; sisters, Connie and Mary Ruth.
In lieu of flowers and other condolences please consider giving a donation in Kenneth DeLozier’s name to Cornelius Ministries, where his granddaughter Johanna and husband Matt are currently serving as missionaries in Rome, Italy. Please send donations to 55 S. Main Street, Oberlin, OH 44074.
