23-month-old drowns in Oologah pond

OOLOGAH — A 23-month-old boy drowned in a pond around 7 a.m. Saturday morning, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. 

Cutter Emmons was found face first in a pond near his grandmother’s house at the 11000 block of South 4070  Road in Oologah. The boy’s gradmother found Emmons in the pond after not being able to locate him for several minutes, according to OHP.

The grandmother and her son attempted to revive the toddler by performing CPR.

Emmons was transported to St. John Owasso Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
