RSU to host Cherokee council election forums

CLAREMORE —

The June 22nd Cherokee tribal council elections will be the subject of a series of forums produced by RSU Public Television.  The forums will be at 6 p.m. on June 3 in the Baird Hall Performance Studio on the Rogers State University Claremore campus.
Sam Jones, host of RSU TV’s Green Country Perspectives, will moderate the forums and the public is invited. 
Because of the large number of candidates, each forum will address three races. The times for each district will be announced at a later date.
The forums will be streamed live on RSU Public TV’s website at www.rsupublictv.org and the website of the Pryor Chamber of Commerce, www.pryorchamber.com. The events will be broadcast on RSU Public TV’s primary channel from 12-1 p.m. on June 10, 12 and 19.
