Grotto Springs site of Randall, Dallis ceremony

Maegan Lindsey Randall and Bobby Lee Dallis exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at the site of Grotto Springs in Eureka Springs, Ark. The ceremony was officiated by Minister Michelle McDonald and was attended by their close family. Scripture was read by Sherry Been, sister of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Cheryl Askew of Claremore and Randy Askew of Nacogdoches, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Jerry and the late Harold Brasier of Claremore, and Bill and the late Shirley Askew of Longview, Texas. Maegan is a 2002 graduate of Central Heights High School of Nacogdoches, Texas. She is currently studying pre-med at Northeastern State University.

The groom is the son of Leroy and Gale Dallis of Tahlequah. He is the grandson of Selma Worthington of Locust Grove, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Abbott of Haskell, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Dallis of Park Hill. Bobby is a 2001 graduate of Tahlequah High School and is currently studying entrepreneurship at Northeastern State University. He has been in the Oklahoma Army National Guard for eight years, and will soon be returning to Iraq for a second tour of duty.

The ceremony took place in a beautiful outdoor setting with the bride wearing a white chiffon fitted strapless gown embellished with pearl beading, Swarovski crystals, and sequins, all re-embroidered in a floral motif. She also wore a rhinestone and crystal tiara. Maegan carried a “Beidermeier” arranged bouquet, consisting of fresh flowers in a fall color scheme. It contained Milva roses, helios alstromeria lilies, red spray roses, golden button mums, and red and green hypercium berries. The groom wore a matching boutonniere on a three-button taupe-colored suit with silk shirt and tie.

After the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at the Peidmont House just a couple of blocks away. A two-tiered round vanilla cake decorated with roses in orange and burgundy was served with champagne.

A long anticipated honeymoon will be spent in Costa Rica upon Bobby’s return from Iraq. The couple resides in Tahlequah.
