Sixkiller, Marti wed at Chapel in the Woods

Jennifer Lynn Sixkiller and Thomas Jacob Marti exchanged wedding vows at 7 p.m., May 10, 2007, the Chapel in the Woods in Tulsa. Miles Henry of Victory Christian Center officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Teri Stonebarger, and Steve Sixkiller all of Claremore. She is the granddaughter of Joan and the late Emory Sixkiller of Claremore, Jess and Betty Stonebarger of Claremore, Carol and the late JR Anglin of Bixby, and Elouise and Jerry Knox, and the late Ed Parham, all of Broken Arrow.

Jenny graduated from Claremore High School in 2000. She earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2006. She is currently employed by Cushing Regional Hospital.

The groom is the son of Sandy and Tom McDaniel of Enid, and the late Robert Marti I of Fairview. He is the grandson of Art and Bonnie Marti of Auburndale, Wis., the late George and Mary Thomas of Marshfield, Wis., and Sandy McDaniel of Fairview.

TJ is a 2000 graduate of Fairview High School. In 2006 he also received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Oklahoma. He is currently employed by Walgreen’s Pharmacy.

The ceremony took place at the Chapel in the Woods. The bride wore a formfitting strapless white gown. It was gathered at the waist with a jeweled brooch and had a cascading ruffle that went down the left to the floor. Tiny seed bead buttons adored the back of the dress down to the small train. She carried a bouquet of pastel pink roses tied with white ribbon.

Maid of Honor was Heather Beauduy, college roommate and friend of the bride. Bridesmaid was Misti Carter, lifelong friend of the bride. Emma Trosky, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.

Tom McDaniel, father of the groom, and Rob Marti, brother of the groom, served as co-best men.

Amanda Cain, sister of the groom, gave a reading during the ceremony.

The reception was held at the Jenks Aquarium. Guests were able to roam about the aquarium and view all of the sea creatures.

Following a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple makes their home in Edmond.
