Weddle, Bell marry at First Presbyterian Church

Lace Weddle and Matthew Bell were married in an evening ceremony held on June 23, 2007, at the First Presbyterian Church in Claremore. Rev. Dennis Ritchie officiated. A reception followed at the Elks Lodge of Claremore.

The bride is the daughter of Troy and Gan Weddle of Claremore and the late Kathleen Weddle. She is the granddaughter of Troy Weddle, Sr. of Claremore and the late Vergie Weddle, Dorothy Howard of Texas and the late Virgil Howard, and Elsie and Leroy Miller of Wakita. Lace graduated from Claremore High School in 2002, attended Rogers State University and currently works for St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

The groom is the son of Bill and Leanne Bell of Oologah and the grandson of the late Jack and Bernice Parker Reed, and the late Frank Bell and Elvina Bell Plumlee. Matt graduated from Oologah High School in 1996 and the University of Central Oklahoma in 2001. He currently is a teacher for Tulsa Public Schools.

Maid of Honor was Claire Tanner, sister of the bride, and best man was Nathan Butterfield, friend of the groom. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Admire, Amy Smith and Courtney Chandler. Groomsmen were Jason Thomason, Matt Gooding and Chris Chandler. Flower girl was Madison Tyler and ring bearer was the bride’s son, Gabriel.

Ushers were Brandon Kelsey and Robert Bissil. Wedding music included organist, Lonnie Liggitt, and soloist, Courtney Chandler.

The bride wore a floor-length strapless ivory gown with sheer ivory veil. She carried a bouquet of pink roses. Wedding colors were black and pink.

The couple spent their honeymoon on a cruise to Jamaica, Cozumel and Grand Cayman Islands. They reside in Claremore.
