Bridget Barto and Toby Rockefeller recently exchanged wedding vows to become husband and wife. The ceremony took place June 23, 2007, on Willard Lawn at the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater. Bob Green of Arrow Heights Baptist Church officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Annette Towry of Claremore, and Mark Barto of Tulsa. She is the granddaughter of Barbara and Charlie Barto of Tulsa, and Fred and Annabelle Hespeler of Norwalk, Ohio.
Bridget is a 2003 graduate of Foyil High School, and a 2007 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a BS in Design, Housing, and Merchandising.
The groom is the son of Harry and Johnnie Rockefeller of Broken Arrow. He is the grandson of John and Maxine Gwartney of Jenks, and Pearl Rockefeller of Leesburg, Fla.
Toby is a 2001 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2005 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and is currently attending Oklahoma University College of Medicine.
The bride’s colors were snapdragon (orange and fuchsia) and apple green. Bridget wore a Demetrios gown with a V-back line and long train. Her veil white with sequins. She carried pink and orange roses with green hydrangeas.
Maid of honor was April Kahlich, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Keely Janson, friend of the bride, Tara Smith, cousin of the bride, and Sarah Towry, sister of the bride. Emily Rockefeller, groom’s cousin, was flower girl.
Ryan Lincks, groom’s best friend, stood as best man, while Jeremy Rockefeller, groom’s brother, T.J. Rockefeller, groom’s brother, and Joe Steinocher, groom’s friend were groomsmen.
Mark Nammari, Dustin Nation, Matt Fowler, Dason Gwartney, and Rick Palmer were ushers. Jennifer Jewel was guest book attendant.
The wedding cake was 4-layers, with the groom’s cake decorated as Pistol Pete.
After honeymooning at Aventura Spa Palace in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Tulsa.
