The Claremore Chamber of Commerce will present the 55th Annual Gridiron at the Robson PAC on Saturday, Jan. 19, featuring an evening of song, dance, and plenty of low-brow humor. Showtime is 7 p.m.
“For years, the Gridiron has poked fun at the year’s events in Claremore, and that tradition is continuing with lots of laughs,” said Barby Myers, Chamber president and CEO. “We hope the community will enjoy an evening out in Claremore, eat out at Claremore restaurants, attend the Gridiron, and the after-party.”
“Claremore Gridiron is a wonderful tradition dating back to a simpler time, before the angry comments of social media. When folks would save up their anger and project it in one glorious evening. We hope to bring back this classic attempt at humor by putting a mirror up to our society via the stage,” said head writer Travis Peck.
Tickets are available at the Claremore Chamber office; 419 W. Will Rogers Blvd. Ticket price is $10 and includes entry to the Gridiron After-party, to be held immediately following the show in the Main Street Tavern Reception Room.
The Gridiron is presented by RCB Bank, and the After-party by Fortna CPA and Main Street Tavern.
