Hope Harbor is excited to announce that First Lady Sarah Stitt will speak at our Annual Open House on September 28, 2019. Senator Marty Quinn will also be in attendance. Stitt has been a driving force to educate Oklahoma on the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Study. Hope Harbor’s unique family reconciliation program not only addresses ACEs, we help our families build resiliency to the life challenges people who have encountered ACEs face. We are honored First Lady Stitt has chosen to be with us for this event.
Please join us on Sept. 28 at 10 am – 2 pm. The event is free and open to the public and includes a fried fish and BBQ lunch. We will have activities for children as well. Our annual Race for Hope 5K and Fun Run will be that morning beginning at 8:30am on our campus as well. For more information on either of these two events or to register for the 5K, please visit our website at www.hopeharborinc.org on our events page.
Hope Harbor is a Reconciliation Facility located in Claremore. We specialize in helping at-risk teens and their families through residential care where residents complete their nine-step Growing In Character model while their parents complete their nine-step Intentional Hope model. The entire family is provided with counseling services throughout the process and aftercare services when the teen returns home. Our program is unlike any other and we are able to see amazing changes in the residents and their families throughout our process.
