Every fall, Safenet Services holds one of the season's most anticipated fundraising events. As is the case with most events—COVID has changed the plans for the Festival of Trees.
"This year's event was scheduled for Dec. 4. However, due to the health concerns for our community we are modifying the 16th annual Festival of Trees to be as safe and successful as possible," said Development Specialist Skylar James. "This means we are taking our beloved auction online starting Dec. 1 and ending on Dec. 4 at 8 p.m."
James added, "Each year, we raise thousands of dollars through the help of volunteers, business owners, and our dedicated community members to benefit our domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking shelter and resource center. The need for our services only continue to grow year after year, and with the effects of COVID-19 support from key stakeholders is more important than ever."
This year, Safenet is offering multiple sponsorship levels—with perks like a watch party kit that includes engraved glasses, wine, and party snacks, a Facebook live mention, and social media shoutouts.
More information will be provided closer to the event. Anyone interested in purchasing a sponsorship, should contact Skylar James via email at skylar@ safenetservices.org
