Family Day at the Ranch

Jacob Krumwiede, Will Rogers Memorial Museum assistant director, will help make a birdhouse during a Family Day at the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch Saturday.

OOLOGAH, Okla. — Visit the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch on June 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. for Family Day at the Ranch. Participants will learn the basics of carpentry as the first 20 build a birdhouse together. Visitors also can enjoy a scenic stroll through the expansive property, with beautiful views of Oologah Lake, a longhorn herd and many shade trees—perfect for picnicking. The Will Rogers Memorial Museum and the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch are divisions of the Oklahoma Historical Society.
