J.M. Davis Museum awards custom Daisy BB rifle during Claremore Day at the Capitol

The J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum took their BB shooting gallery to the state capitol on Feb. 27 during Claremore Day. The museum held a marksmanship contest with legislators, security guards, ushers and legislative aids taking part. The winner was Katrina McConnell, a high school student from Kingfisher that was serving as a page.

Deputy Majority leader of the state house, Mike Sanders (left) was McConnell’s sponsor. Claremore state representative, Mark Lepak (right)  presents the custom made Daisy BB rifle to McConnell.
