Nichole Davis is one of Claremore's favorite book sellers.
She's worked at the main street staple, Boarding House Books, for nearly three years and is known for her smiling face and top-notch recommendations.
Davis said it's one of the best parts of the job: "When people come in looking for that one certain book and they've been looking for for years and 95 percent of the time I can find it for them and they leave smiling and happy."
Davis said she's always loved to read and she loves to talk books with any Boarding House patrons.
I always go back to Harry Potter. Always.
Any genre you don't love, or refuse to read?
Science fiction. I can do a little, I'll try it, but I don't love it.
Two cats, Beast and Pumpkin.
What author or books are you always happy to recommend?
I recently got into the "Outlander" books. So any customer that will listen to me talk about them usually goes out the door with one. Game of Thrones, Neil Gaiman, anything like that I always like.
Favorite book to film adaptation?
That's really hard because I'm pretty picky but I'd have to say, 'The Art of Racing in the Rain.' It wasn't a big blockbuster hit but I really loved both the book and movie.
When she's not reading or working, she loves spending time with her fiance and researching her ancestry.
Davis said she loves working and she loves Claremore.
"Claremore is a beautiful town. There's so much to do and so much to see," she said. "And I love this shop in the downtown."
