Organizers are pulling out all the stops for the inaugural Rogers County Farmer’s Market at Gazebo Park.
“So far we have confirmed Remy's Chop Shop to do a "Culinary Chop" for Cinco de Mayo on May 4,” said organizer Kara Lenard. “Claremore Rec Center will host aerobics under the gazebo from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m..”
A live band will be playing from the gazebo from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The Claremore Museum of History will open at 8 am during the farmers market season and will provide booth space for vendors with climate-sensitive products.
“For vendors, we have Wee Bee Jammin' Honey, Six Acre Bees, Cypress Scents (goat milk soaps), Beauty by June and Jolene, and She Brews Coffee House,” said Lenard. “But, we are receiving new applications each day.”
Prospective vendors can email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
She said booth space will be $5 per week and vendors can participate for either all or part of the season.
