Catoosa Police Department made an arrest after three woman reported being held hostage at knife-point.
Catoosa PD reports show that officers were notified to a burglary in process in which a man, later identified as Garrett Estes, was inside the residence and had a knife.
When officers arrived on scene, Estes was reportedly attempting to flee the scene, driving a car with a female passenger, and a pursuit ensued.
Multiple agencies joined forces for the pursuit, records show.
Another officer remained on scene to speak with the alleged victims in the case.
"The victim stated that the male subject had taken herself, her mother, and her roommate hostage inside the house. The victim continued to state that they were not allowed to leave the residence and she did not know the male subject who was holding them hostage," according to Catoosa PD records. "She stated that the male subject had left with her mother still being held hostage."
Officers caught up with Estes and the woman near 71st and Riverside in Tulsa.
Estes was taken into custody and booked into the Rogers County Jail for kidnapping, assault and battery with a deadly weapon, burglary in the first degree, eluding officers and larceny of an automobile.
Records show Estes has multiple prior felony convictions.
