Nichole Lynnae “Nikki” Estes

Nichole Lynnae “Nikki” Estes was born April 28, 1972 to Brian and Joann (Mullins) Estes in Tulsa, OK, and passed away on August 12, 2019 in Foyil, OK. Nichole grew up in Claremore, OK where she attended Claremont Elementary, and went on to graduate from Claremore High School in 1990. Nichole was very well known and loved within her high school community, where she was voted “Class Clown” her senior year. She was also a member of the Pomerette Squad, which gave her the perfect opportunity to display her larger-than-life personality.

Nichole’s family and friends knew her as an intelligent and hilariously witty person. Those who knew her well knew that she was also a gifted story teller, who often turned the most mundane story into a fantastic and memorable one. More importantly, Nichole was known as a loyal and protective confidant, who others could turn to in times of need. Her deep-thinking and philosophical mind was at its best when she got to help someone, which she genuinely she loved to do. After graduating from high school, Nichole attended Rogers State College, which is now Rogers State University, where she had aspirations of becoming a physical therapist. She worked at Rebound PT Clinic for several years as a physical therapy technician, where she assisted PT’s and PTA’s. She truly enjoyed her time there, as she loved the opportunity to help others, even if she didn’t know them well.

Nichole’s strong-willed, determined nature made her a “fighter” in life. She fought her way through many personal battles throughout the years, including the death of her father when she was in middle school, and the death of her mother when she was in high school. Despite various setbacks, Nichole never gave up the hope of becoming the best version of herself, which her family and friends never stopped knowing her to be. To them, she was, and will forever be, that larger-than life, hilarious, beautiful soul.

Nichole is survived by her three sons, Wesley, Camerone and Blake; Sister, Ashley Jo (Anderson) Floyd, her husband Tim, and her children, Aspen and Beaumont, of Owasso, OK; aunt, Marilyn Mullins, of Broken Arrow, OK; cousin, Chrisanna (Janos) Prescott and her children, Andy, Mariah, Christopher, Zachary, of Jacksonville, FL; and cousin Kama (Janos) Wilson and her daughter, Anna, of Broken Arrow, OK. Nichole is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her grandparents, Truman and Joy (Talbert) Mullins, of Claremore, OK. It was with her grandparents that she grew up attending Memorial Heights Baptist Church in Claremore, OK, where she learned the Love and Grace of God’s Word, which she joyfully shared with others throughout the remaining years of her life.

To honor Nichole's life, a memorial service is being held at Memorial Heights Baptist Church in Claremore, OK on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to 12 & 12, Inc.
