Pending civil litigation, power cost adjustment changes, and a record retention policy are all on the upcoming Claremore City Council agenda.
Monday, Oct. 7, at 6 p.m. the Claremore City Council will meet for their regularly scheduled meeting in the council chambers.
First up will be a discussion regarding the "administratively approved records retention policy."
The council will also discuss, and vote to approve or reject, a resolution selecting an engineering firm to complete the city bridge inspections from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2022.
Also on the agenda is a discussion, and vote to approve or reject, changes to the power cost adjustment.
The council is also slated to enter into an executive session to discuss pending civil litigation, City of Claremore vs. KC Gunite, Case No. 19-CV-333-CVE-JFJ.
According to the agenda, following executive session, council will be asked to vote to approve or not approve "authorizing the city manager to execute settlement agreement on behalf of the City and pursuant to the principles of agreement reached between the city and KC Gunite, the form of such settlement agreement to be approved by the city's legal counsel."
